"Sarafovo" port and the marinas in "Kraymorie" and "Chengene skele" have been awarded the prestigious "Blue Flag" eco-award.
This award is essential for the ecological sustainability of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, for increasing the reputation of the awarded destinations and the undeniable economic effect it brings for them.
According to the rules and procedures of the "Blue Flag" program, public and secret international and national inspections of the awarded Bulgarian sites are expected during the season, in order to guarantee the maintenance of the high standard of the Blue Flag eco-label at all times.
In this jubilee 30th anniversary, the Bulgarian "Blue Flag" movement approved and proposed for evaluation to the international jury 30 applications for the most coveted world prize in tourism, which distinguishes beaches, marinas and tourist vessels around the world for their ecological management and safety.
Undoubtedly, the best Bulgarian beaches and marinas have participated in the program for many years, serving as an example not only to their native competitors, but also to foreign concessionaires. Some of them have won international competitions for best practices or have been highlighted as benchmarks by the global auditors who check them.
