Burgas as an accessible and attractive destination for tourists from Turkey - this is the next step to attract guests from another country. The Maritime Municipality implemented a successful advertising campaign together with the Black Sea municipalities of Nessebar, Pomorie and Primorsko for the Turkish market. Thus continues the strategy for advertising the Southern Black Sea destination with a common product, the beginning of which was set with the project for marketing activities of the Ministry of Tourism.

Bulgaria is the only foreign destination featured in the summer edition of the Turkish daily Milliyet - one of the most influential media publications in the country. This is the result of a targeted campaign by the Ministry of Tourism and the National Tourist Office in Istanbul, which promote the Southern Black Sea Coast as a preferred holiday destination among Turkish tourists.

Burgas is presented on the pages of the publication with two of its most visited sites - St. Anastasia Island and Aqua Kalide tourist complex. They combine history, nature, a unique atmosphere that attracts Bulgarian and foreign tourists all year round. Turkey is a strategic market for the maritime municipality and efforts are aimed at an even better presentation of Burgas as a city offering security, hospitality and accessibility of vacation.

Milliyet's Summer Breeze magazine, distributed in 100,000 copies, is entirely dedicated to the topic of summer travel and includes advertising content, texts and photographs that present Bulgaria's Southern Black Sea Coast as an attractive destination for spa, cultural and sea tourism.

Milliyet is among the most authoritative publications in Turkey, distributed in over 12,000 outlets in all 81 provinces of the country. Milliyet has an established digital presence through the online platform https://milliyet.com.tr/ and the mobile application Milliyet e-gazete.
